Prior to joining BCA Lawyers, Alexandra began her legal career as a commercial and civil litigation lawyer at a Montreal boutique law firm where she acquired valuable hands-on experience and was entrusted with autonomy and responsibility early in her career. She assisted on and fully managed several mandates in the areas of civil litigation, construction law, real estate law, contractual law as well as corporate law. She has appeared before the Court of Quebec and the Superior Court of Quebec, representing client’s interests both in the course of proceedings and in trials on the merit.

Alexandra was called to the Quebec Bar in 2020. She earned a Juris Doctor in North American Common Law in 2022 and a Bachelor of Civil Law in 2018 both from the University of Montreal. Prior to her law studies, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University in 2014.

During her legal studies, Alexandra also worked at a leading Canadian immigration law firm where she assisted clients with their personal and business-related immigration needs.

Alexandra is fluent in English and French and has a working proficiency in Italian.

Representative matters

She successfully represented a lessee (respondent) and had an application by the lessor (appellant) to obtain the permission to appeal a decision rendered by the Tribunal Administratif du Logement (TAL) granting the lessee’s claim for damages in a dispute concerning the lessor’s undue refusal to consent to the sublease of the property (Paquette v. She successfully represented a commercial property owner of a dominant lot in the recognition of a servitude of right of way in an application for a permanent injunction and damages, including punitive damages, ordering the complete removal of an illegal terrace built in violation of the servitude of right of way (Remer v.
